Making Sticky Rice Balls

This snack can also be called palitaw / bilo-bilo / hot chiba / nuom chi / etc! But the end result is always a yummy, sticky dish that is just way too fun to eat.  I'd like to give a full disclosure and some clarifications to start off this entry. When I decided to call this blog "The Weekend Stitcher", I was in the midst of a yarn project. Actually, I'm always in the middle of a yarn project. Hence, the name. However, I realize now that the title can be a little deceiving since I will post a lot about other activities that I enjoy that may not necessarily involve stitching. Hi there!  I'm starting this blog to share my new crafting experiences. I've always loved learning to do things with my hands, but they have always been relegated to become weekend activities. Now that I took some time off work, I feel like I can finally start focusing and learning to do the things I've always wanted.  I have 2 main hobbies that I love to do - creating stuff with yarn and baking. They may seem like two very different activities (and really, they are), but I feel like I enjoy them both so much because they're the perfect things to do when I want to relax and de-stress from a long day off work. Nothing beats that last knot on your latest yarn project, or smelling freshly baked cookies as they come out of the oven. However, this blog won't just focus on things I've done already.
